Tallinn Christmas Market

Tallinn is the home of the world’s first Christmas tree. The tree has been placed at the centre of the town square since 1441. The market includes handcrafted goods, local Estonia food and drink, snow sculptures and a range of contests. There are competitions for decorating tress, handcrafted items, the best Christmas decorations, and, of course, food. The feature food category is for gingerbread – a local treat. There are also opportunities to skate on the outdoor rink and attend concerts and film screenings.
