International Fringe

Recognised as the world’s largest arts festival, the International Fringe Festival in Edinburgh spans more than three weeks at the end of summer each year. In 2012, the festival featured more than 2500 shows from artists of all backgrounds at about 280 venues around the Scottish capital. The first Fringe took place way back in 1947.
